This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Looking for play testers for my new sorcery system

This has been a lot more difficult laying out than I thought it would be, but I finally have the sorcery system written out for the game I've nearly finished. The system is based on summoning elementals, spirits and demons. Sorcerers also have the ability to perform divinations and mesmerizations. I drew inspiration from several different magic systems, but I would say much of the  flavor came from the 1st edition of the Stormbringer RPG.

I'd really like to play test this system to see how it feels from the player's point of view, so if you'd like to take part in a quick one shot, shoot me a PM or respond on this thread and I'll start setting up game times. I'm going to create a number of different types of spellcasters for testing, but I encourage players to create their own characters too if they prefer.

I'm going to be running one-shots on Roll20 via Hangouts, and my availability is any time after 5:30 PST during the week and just about any time on the weekends. If you'd like to kick the  tires on this system and try something a little different, PM me or respond to this thread and I'll put something together! :)

I'd be up for it if it were to happen on a Fri/Sat/Sun evening. I like Stormbringer and Magic World (generic version of Stormbringer) a lot so I'm curious to see what you've come up with.

I might have a couple of players looking at Saturday, so I'll see what I can cobble together. It would be great to get some feedback from someone familiar with the Stormbringer RPG. While they're pretty different mechanically (different core mechanics), I really liked the way sorcery worked in the Stormbringer game, and I'm trying to capture that sort of feel for the magic system.

I'm afraid that time is completely impossible for me, but I certainly wouldn't mind taking a look and at least pondering it. I'm always on the lookout for good sword & sorcery-style magic systems.
Obvious troll is obvious. RIP, Bill.

Hello Premier! Once I get the rough draft typed out into something readable, I can email a pdf. I should have it converted and entered into the rules pdf by tomorrow.
