Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

It's available as a free download here, and I've had that for a while, but you know how it is, you never read free downloads properly. I bought it in print today, it's a nice paperback size, 6"x9", 158pp.

It looks good, a bit thespy (diceless, for one) but I like that. Anyone played it? I had a look, but couldn't find any campaign webpages for it. Tell me your experiences, if any.

We played it for a one shot. I don't remember anything particularly memorable about it, good or bad. I'd try it again. Shrug.

What I liked about it (one of the reasons I started writing for PIG) was that even though it's diceless, it still feels like you're playing a more traditional role playing game, since it uses resource allocation points.  Something else I found was that I was able to concentrate a lot more on the story.  My players had a general idea of what their characters were capable of beforehand, so when they wanted to do something they did it.   Recently I've been considering running a PbP game using it because it seems like the mechanics are tailored made for PbP play.

EDIT: I apologies for the rather questionable nature of the above post, and due to honor I am forced to leave it standing... But nonetheless, the linked article does discuss two separate games in which AE was used. The conclusions may be debatable, but I hope is does provide insight.

Thanks for that review, DevP, it was good to hear of some play experiences people have had.

Anyone else?

Go read it, or I will be forced to put a scratch on this Banarama LP I have here.

I think I will start a "read an rpg pdf this week" challenge.
