This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

This is 3.5 DnD goodness.

Coolest use of a lvl 5 spell slot.

Flame Dagger (lvl 2 wiz) and Fell Animate +3 spell levels = 5 lvl slot.

It now comes down to how many people can you kill in 9 minutes cause thats how many zombies you have that can up and kill folks.

Fun Fun Fun.

Not quite in the same category, but I loved the mileage I got out of my Decanter of Endless Water in a 1E campaign.

While playing a tank in full plate, saved the party (and my gear) from a rust monster coming up the stairs behind us be putting back to wall and geysering it off the steps, pinning it down until the archers and mage killed it.

Same dungeon, a couple game sessions later, came one second of killing a vampire with the thing, but an idiot party member decided to "help" by shooting the vampire with an arrow. It went gaseous, and got away, but it gave me a wide berth from then on...

the good ol' decanter was one of those really fun items. :D  sovereign glue could also be a whole lot of fun...
don't quote me on that.  :)

Visit the Creature Catalog for all your D&D 3E monster needs!  :)

I had a wand of earth moving or somesuch in an old 2nd Ed. game. Basically it could transute loads of rock to mud and vice versa.

I used it to colapse parts of a cavern ceiling just above a dragon, burying it under tons of mud, and then transmuting it back to rock. I figured that by the time the dragon had digged itself out of that heap, if it ever did, we'd be long gone with the loot. :D

I found icing for my cake... if the guy who does this has the Chain of Corpsecrafter Feats from LM.
