This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Did anyone back the Kickstarter or buy the PDF yet? I supported the first KS, got refunded, then didn't realize the second KS was underway until way too late. Curious to get some opinions before I drop $20 (which I will, anyway).

I did not back the KS, but I did offer to help the guy get it done maybe two years ago and he was having a LOT of problems in life and he ignored the offers so I faded. I am friends with Steve Sechi, so he will be interested to see the link./

Any idea as to page count?

$20 for a PDF seems pricey, at least without knowing more details.

Curious for a review from someone here, as I own the original stuffs.

TOC on the preview says 364, so it's pretty substantial. It was briefly on sale for $13, and I should have bought it then, but you know how that goes...I do have a copy of the PDF sent out during the original KS and it was essentially the 2nd edition book cleaned up quite a bit. It's my understanding this version does more clean up, clarifies a lot of stuff, tries to standardize monsters and weapons, and adds additional content.

Thanks!

That's more appealing.

Released under a Creative Commons license even for commercial use. Nice touch.

Any details on the system itself?

Running: HarnMaster, and prepping for Werewolf 5.

That's very interesting. I really wish they went with the OGL though. I find Creative Commons extremely confusing, basically 2+ pages of legalise, presumably for people who can afford lawyers.
