SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Is that the rant that led to the ever-famous Tale of the Wide-Chested Man?
For fuck\'s sake, these are games, people.

And no one gives a fuck about your ignore list.

It predates The Last Paladin for sure, and some like to take a shot at Wick for expressing a dislike for 3.0, then doing an OGL adventure (What's that Smell?) soon after 3.0 dropped.

I just know that Wick has only been in that kind of rhythm once since and it's already in JimBob's list.
Running: Dogs of WAR - Beer & Pretzels & Bullets
Planning to Run: Godbound or Stars Without Number
Playing: Star Wars D20 Rev.

A lack of moderation doesn\'t mean saying every asshole thing that pops into your head.

No idea where to look for Wick's rant, but one guy was good enough to point out S John Ross's Big List of RPG Plots.

Thanks Joe but I'd like to avoid system-specific stuff. This is for two reasons. Firstly, because I want the links list to be one anyone can use, whatever their game system of choice. Secondly, because with at least 1,700, and probably over 2,000 rpgs ever published, if I were to go for system-specific stuff, the list would expand forever and become unusable...

Perhaps you could begin "Joe's Big List of d20 Links", since it's the most popular system (if you fold D&D into it), I'm sure it'd be worth doing, and the mods would sticky it.

dsivis, I'm still checking through those other links.

I figured it was universal enough to be useful..no worries, though, I'll post it for everyone.

I've decided that it was time to "unstick" this thread, mainly because it hasn't been updated for some time, and because I don't want to have too many sticky threads at the top of the main forum page.
