I was going to add this to my other thread on setting/game conversion to other systems, but I figured it might deserve a separate thread on its own.
When I think about converting games, many times there's an underlying opinion that the game in question has a system that doesn't lend itself to the style or genre of the game. So with that in mind, are there specific systems you like to use for different styles of game or genres?
What system do you think is the best for:
Pulp?
Fantasy?
Gritty?
Cinematic?
Modern day?
Any other system that just screams a specific style of game or genre?
