So what did this Swordfall guy say in the past that makes him a SJW?

I have to admit, when your therapist tells you 'you are swimming in contaminated waters', that's one hell of a wakeup call.

What never ceases to amaze me is how these guys mistake Twitter for the real World. "Every time I checked I had lost 30-35 followers, sigh sob." So the fucking what? If people decide that "Guilty until proven innocent" is the way to go, lose them and start living in the real world.

I'm stunned that, after the umpteenth sob story about Twitter, people still think that Twitter has any kind of meaning.
For every idiot who denounces Ayn Rand as "intellectualism" there is an excellent DM who creates a "Bioshock" adventure.

Whether you think the guy is a moron, or an SJW getting what he deserves, or just an unlucky schmuck, the larger pattern of how toxic social media and interaction is these days really stands out.

Zoe Quinn's game developer ex found that out too late (not the one with the long blog post, though it took him long enough as well). He was surrounded by a swamp of contaminated water including his sister, closest firends etc. In fact, he may never have found out, still blaming himself at the time he committed suicide.

Inability to put things into perspective or proper context is their undoing. And a trait shared with the socially dysfunctional.

I have to admit, I could not get through all of his post. I got through enough to pretty much hate everyone involved, but lost interest fast.

The swordsfall guy may have discovered a way to avoid being canceled. Create a post that is so long that no one reads it, everyone gets bored, everyone moves on to the next witchunt.

I admit, a bit rhetorical, but I can't help but to comment, and yes, where did all of these socially dysfunctional people come from? How were these hordes and hordes of socially dysfunctional people created?

I remember there was a time where it certainly seemed like if you didn't have your shit together by the time you were out of high school, if you were someone that gnashed your teeth and insisted on being socially dysfunctional, soon after getting out of high school, you would either end up dead, in prison, or stuck isolated somewhere out in a desert living in a trailer park.

Somehow, these hordes of socially dysfunctional troglodytes are *everywhere* now, and they are well into adulthood, being in the 20's, 30's, or even older.

More and more, I wonder if we are living through an episode of the Twilight Zone. How do all of these fucking troglodytes even survive? Run your mouth at work, get stupid, fuck around and find out--you wouldn't last a week at McDonalds. Let alone anywhere else. No one would hire you to do much of anything.

How do these socially dysfunctional jackasses pay their rent? Rent and mortgages are sky fucking high in many places now. How do these jackasses buy food to eat? Put gas in their cars? Keep their cell phones turned on? How do these retards find someone to fuck and breed with? Who in their right mind would fuck these troglodytes?

Everyday, driving on the freeway, there is plenty to get offended by. Taking the bus somewhere across town. More reasons to get offended. Going in to a work shift, working anywhere, doing anything--always lots of ways and reasons to be regularly offended, by co-workers, customers, clients, or management. Attending a class at school, some college--again, every day, there are many reasons and ways to feel offended.

Every day, waking up, and walking out the door, is full of offenses, insults, disappointments and frustrations. These people must be living in a seething, enraged mess each and every day.

They've always been around.  It's only recently that they've been widely celebrated, promoted, pushed, etc.  One side of a twin dark coin. Ignored, all kinds of dysfunction develops around keeping it quiet.  Out in the open, it's so easy to take that one fatal step into where we are now.

It's exactly parallel to the twin complaints about fantasy games:  One group is terrified that people will use their imaginations unregulated and get into trouble.  The other group is terrified that someone, somewhere, might think their imaginations could use a bit of restraint.  Not surprising, since all of it springs from the same screwed up views of human nature and reality.

In this kinder, gentler world parents don't let their crotchfruit fail and recover, leading to children who turn age 18 expecting to be given everything just for breathing.

Too many of them think they're smarter and more capable than they actually are or that anyone gives a shit about their fucked-up opinions.  Too many of them haven't been publicly ridiculed for their stupidity or gotten an ass chewing by their boss or been smacked in the mouth buy an offended party...

As evidenced by the fact that "adulting" as a verb is ever used in the English language...

I also find it very curious that newly graduated 18 year olds in 1965 were fully capable of going off to a job and raising a family while 18 year olds now can't figure out how to even properly apply for a job (or consider that unprotected sex will more than likely result in offspring).

Back then, 18 year olds looked and sounded like adults.  We've got 30 year old children nowadays ..

Jonathan Haidt pointed out this four years ago in his book "The Coddling of the American Mind". Just read it or watch one of the many YouTube videos where he talks about the dire problems of the current generation. These problems are not unknown, only ignored.

I agree the decline in parenting and in standards generally is probably churning out a higher proportion of these bloody people in each age cohort, although my personal experience of folks in their 20s is mostly positive.

But I reckon it's always been there. My boomer-generation parents and their siblings are involved with various voluntary and social groups. This is in solidly provincial UK, not London or Seattle or somewhere. And there is "always one" in these groups of people in their 50s/60s that seems to get off on stirring up drama etc.

It's just that now these dysfunctional people have various echo chambers on the internet to amplify their mewlings.
