Title: stupid things said during a D&D Game
Post by: GhostNinja on September 11, 2022, 05:59:59 PM
We all flub, it happens we are humans.  Here are some of the things I experienced during my game this Saturday night.

In my D&D 5th edition game a character rolled a critical failure (1) so I wanted him to roll 1D20 and if he rolled over a 10 he would be fine, and if he rolled less than 10, the weapon would have slipped out of his hand.

Well, that's what I mean to say.  What I actually said was:

"Roll 1D10 and if you roll higher than a 10 your weapon doesn't fly out of your hand".

It took me a couple seconds to figure out why people were staring at me.

Runner up: Two players I kept mixing up who was who.

Best out of game discussion:

Player goes to find out what the store's wifi password is.  This is the actual conversation

Player goes to talk to the store employee at the counter to find out what the wifi password is

Player: "What's the store's Wifi password?"

Employee "Same as the last time"

Player "Um, I wasn't here the last time"

Employee "No, that's the password, all one-word sameasthelastime"

A real who' on first moment

Anyone else have some good funny moments?
