My group is lucky enough that everyone has a go being GM. We tend to fit a session in once a month (sometimes the stretch is a bit longer), but we take it in turns who is running the campaign, and with what system.
However I seem to do the lion's share, I tend to be GM about twice as much as the others. Still, it's fun just to coast as a player when it's someone else's turn to be GM.
No game prep is a great thing at times :)
