This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Ring of Defence?
« on: May 25, 2006, 05:37:17 AM »
In This page linked to in the Orcus thread, there are stats for a drac that owns a "ring of Defence".

Anybody knows what it does beside giving a deflection bonus to AC, and where the source stats are from?

Ring of Defense +5 (+5 Deflection bonus to AC, +5 Resistance bonus to Saving Throws) Cost: 100,000gp

That's from a websearch, I can't quote an offical D&D source.

But considering the Dragon wearing the ring has the following saves.

Saves: Fort +37, Ref +27, Will +35

And according to the SRD he should have.

Saves: Fort +32, Ref +22, Will +30

I'm guessing it is accurate.
