This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I actually liked the "evil Millenium Tree" in Mindwerks.

I was pretty disappointed with Mindwerks. I think it is one of the few Rifts books that I never used for anything. I still own it, but meh.

The psinetics (?) were kinda cool, but the Brodkil never made sense to me - why give up Supernatural Strength and invisibility for ridiculously weaker bionic strength? just never made sense to me.

The Tarnow Crystal is also up there with the King Arthuu crap in England.

I take back my previous statement; I DID use something from Mindwerks once - the cargo ship.
Like everyone else, I have a blog

The Tarnow Crystal is pure, crystalised awesome!

Pet peeve of mine too. I suggest either discarding the whole bionics nonsense, or making them SDC creatures who can actually benefit from bionics.

I don't know, I like the idea of an outwardly peaceful and prosperous small kingdom wholly dependent on an intelligent, evil crystal for its wealth and security. That's solid gaming gold, right there.

But did the king actually had to be named Karol Wojtyla? For fuck's sake
