Mongoose RuneQuest - What Would You Like?

For those fans of the Mongoose version of RuneQuest, what would you like to see as product? Are you looking for Adventures? Splatbooks on Cults or Runes or whatever?

What would you like to see put out for the game?
"Meh."

I'm not a fan, but stuff that might cause me to reconsider would be the dark ages Britain thing they talked about based I think on Cornwell's rather good Arthur trilogy, and I would be quite interested in a game set in the 15th Century.

Basically, historical stuff, and actual historical rather than their not so great IMO pirates game.

Edit:  And some decent sf, but that may have to wait for another iteration of the ruleset.

I'm a fan. I'd like to see a typical assortment of products. In addition to a single, clear book containing the core rules, which is presumably on the way, I would like to see core books outlining different applications of rules--particularly all thevarieties of magic employed in the line--and tips and guidelines for when and how those things would be handy to use. I would love to see campaigns and adventures set in the various worlds. I'd love to see more licenses and applications to fantasy and other genres.

I'm aware that there's a huge overlap between what I'm talking about and what the big Deluxe BRP from Chasium is going to be. I'm looking forward to that, as well.

What I'd really like to see added to Mongoose's repertoire (and I know I'm probably beating a dead horse) is books that don't unravel at the spine.
Employment Counselor: So what do you like to do outside of work?
Oblivious Gamer: I like to play games: wargames, role-playing games.
EC: My cousin killed himself because of role-playing games.
OG: Jesus, what was he playing? Rifts?

I'm a fan of both the old and new systems.  I would like to see more material like Slaine that isn't just a rehash of things Chaosium has already done (i.e. Elric and Hawkmoon).  The upcoming spell book is promising and the Monster Book II will be nice.  Essentially now that they have established the rules I would like to see them break some new ground like they did with the Clanking City or the Second Age material but with something other than Glorantha.

Finally, since I'm working so much lately and have kids to contend with I would appreciate some pre-generated NPC's for those unexpected encounters that always seem to come up.

A corebook with some flavor that didn't read like a vehicle owner's manual would be a start. ;)

See I think almost the opposite would be cool.  I would love to see a compilation book with the variant magic systems, new backgrounds/professions, guidelines for tweaking playstyle, new NPC's/monsters and advice on creating a sword and sorcery homebrew.  I feel like as far as fluff goes Mongoose has covered alot in this area with Lankhmar, Elric, Glorantha and Hawkmoon.  All are interesting reads.

What I want is something I can refrence to throw Elric's summoning rules in with Lankhmar's sorcery, Hawkmoons sorcery-tech and Glorantha's runes and maybe some new types of magic, followed up with a huge dose of new professions(Sacrficial Sorcerer, Artificer, Duelist, etc.) and advice and guidelines for combining the one's I choose into a cohesive whole...without carrying around 4-5 books.

Yeah, a core book that had rules that reflected the opinions and desires of the playtesters would be a good start.

I ended up selling mine back to a local bookstore after i read it.  Now I'll just wait for the new BRP.
