Yes, that's harsh but as far as I've seen, a truth where I live. It's a stereotype that has a real basis. I'd be called a bigot and racist and white scum for pointing that out. Judging a group of people by a prejudice is the very definition of racism. You know Native Americans who are lazy bums? I know white, Chinese, Japanese, black and tan people who are lazy bums. I also know Native Americans who are accomplished artists, musicians, politicians, educators, rights advocates, doctors, and businessmen. To assume something about any individual by their genetic lineage is frankly retarded, and displays only your lack of education and self-awareness. Merely the idea that you can make a sweeping judgement about a population of millions of people stretched across an entire continent based on your incredibly limited interactions in the area you happen to live is the height of willful ignorance.

Do I see a Native and just hate them? Or think bad things should happen to them? Or ask my white friend how he's treated by Natives because he married a woman with Native blood.

Those are real problems and the sources can be debated, but going after an RPG isn't helpful. It's an attention-grabbing distraction and when somebody points out real problems, it's met with cries of racism or blaming the white man.

Yeah, I should've qualified it more. Of course I don't think every Native is like that. That's stupid. But you don't know me and my naive assumption that people won't assume the worst and read into sarcasm online, well...

My point, whether you agree or not, is that the negative stereotype I pointed out is more prevalent than it should be. Is there an honest look at why? No, it's most often "Whitey did it!" than anything else and to see that petition made my blood boil.
