This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Combine the VR headset with something as versatile for building as Minecraft or Second Life and you are well on the way. As noted in another thread. I've been recreating my original recreation of Keep on the borderlands in Minecraft to scale aster my old completed project was completely lost in a computer crash. Even the backups were lost.

From what I can tell without actually having VR, Tabletop Simulator supports it.
TTS is 3D so VR is the next step.

Try the game Demeo. It is similar heroquest with up to 4 players using miniatures and rolling dice in a coop dungeon.

It is a hint of things to come.

Check out RecRoom (free and on Oculus). It has the ability to design your own shared spaces (with voice chat) and create manipulatable objects. When I last checked it out, it had prefabs for a table you could draw on with a dry erase marker, pawns, and different types of dice.

Holy shit, that looks badass!!

(Also, I'm guessing since it's a VR post... Hi Zach!)
