I received a pre-order offer from Amazon today. It states that The Art of War will be released on April 15th, but I can't find any information about this in Cubicle 7's website. Is the release date correct? And what happened to the Bestiary?

Cubicle 7 has gotten much better about releasing things earlier of late; so that means that if they say April 15th, it'll be here by February 2011, tops.

QIN's publishers have taken so long to release additional English products that I no longer care about it.

Hi guys,

The Qin Bestiary is going to the printer in the next couple of weeks - that should release in April.  The Art of War is in final edit right now and about to go into layout; we're trying to get that out in late April, but it might just slip into May.

After that it's Tian Xia volumes 1 and 2, which are currently being translated.  We're aiming for a July release for volume 1, but as we don't have the text in edit yet it's a little less certain.

Apologies for the inaccuracy of our release dates - we are putting a lot of effort into improving this part of our process, and hopefully we'll continue to get better at it.  At the very least, I'm happy to provide whatever visibility I can into where a given product is, so please ask. :-)

Cheers,

Sarah

no one important

Thanks for the update.  I'm very much looking forward to this.  (But then, I have a standing order at the FLGS for every Qin book they can get me.)
Not as dumb as I look, sound, or best testing indicates.  Awful close, though.

Yes, thank you very much for your update about things, Sarah. I do hope you guys keep working on that "getting products out on time" issue.

Well it made -me- laugh. I don't know why.
OK. Time for my walk. :D

Hi everyone,

Just a quick bit of info to say that the Qin Bestiary is (finally!) available in PDF from DriveThru / RPGNow at http://www.rpgnow.com/product_info.php?products_id=80958, and should be showing up at your FLGS from here on in.  Thanks to everyone for your patience, and we hope you enjoy it - it's a nice-looking book with some very cool opponents if you're playing Qin in "supernatural" or "fantasy" mode!

Art of War is slightly delayed in edit - basically it's come back from the translator in need of some *thorough* editing and a bit of rewriting, so we're doing that now. Should be going into layout in a couple of weeks, so not a huge delay, but it'll be infinitely better for the additional TLC!  I'll keep posting updates as I have them :-)

Cheers,

Sarah

Well you can't do worse than FFG.
"Ghost Whistler" is rated PG-13 (Parents strongly cautioned). Parental death, alien battles and annihilated worlds.
