This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Im a complete sucker for random tables. To me, the Toolbox is one of The best D20 books ever written.  A book filled and filled with tables and tables of all kinds. I love Warhammer for the same reason.

Note: I don't like tables for mechanics at all: I think tables are made for random setting flavour! That's where they're really cool.

So what systems are good for it?

Does anyone have any links to websites that people have made with random tables for setting flavours?

I don't know if online random tables count, but I make a bunch of web toys you can play with.

If you like cut ups as random info, I have a bunch of those that I more-or-less give away.  Basically, it turns a novel into a random table of phrases.
Because that makes for stupidly huge tables, I use a spread sheet to manage dice rolls and such.
