SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Quote from: obrynIs everyone familiar with the Theban Mapping Project?

It's an amazing site with detailed 3-D, interactive maps of the tombs in the Valley of the Kings.

Seriously, it's like a dungeon crawl campaign construction set.

Yeah, that was my reaction too. :)  I was impressed before I noticed how much information was on each of the tabs.

Thanks for that link obryn!  It is *very* cool stuff.  It already has given me an adventure idea for the Tekumel tomb police campaign that has been in the planning stage for way too long.  I have bookmarked it and intend to lose an entire weekend there sometime soon... :D

Excellent! I now want to hire Wilf Hadow (age 7) to do all of my maps.

This is a bit of an advertisement, but Empty Room Studios just launched our web store and one of the new things we are trying is a line of maps called LandEscapes. Basically what we are doing is making highly detailed maps as large prints with no lables or names. So, you can use the map and title things as you see fit, for your own gaming needs.

you can check it out here: http://www.cafepress.com/emptyroomstudio.114215733

We hope to have more up soon, including cities, dungeons, etc.
