This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

'Fascism' was NEVER a 'right wing' thing.

Facism at its roots is still a'left-wing' phenomena - it is a collectivist way of running things - that makes it Left Wing.

Absolute bullshit, and whoever buys it is even more stupid that the moron who originally came out with it; no self respecting political scholar has ever classified fascism as "left wing".

Fascist Italy was a corporatist state, where every meaningful decision was imposed from the top down through "corporations", pseudo unions that grouped workers, business owners and state officials in thematic associations.

This is as face palm-inducing as a person I know, who said on several occasions that the Nazis weren't Socialist.  Just because their party's name in English, literally, is "socialist worker's party" didn't mean anything.  It was just a name.  Their socialist policies, i guess, also didn't make them socialist.  SMH
