This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Most Alt-Right Nazi LARP'ers are into Norse or Celtic paganism and shit all over Southern Europe, despite Western Civilization originating in Greece and Rome.

Well you have the Hitler types (eg Richard Spencer) who admire Classical Greece & Rome, and the Himmler types (eg Varg Vikernes) who admire Norse paganism. They're not necessarily exclusive, either.

Thankfully I am going none politics in my game.

Edit:  Which now that I am thinking about it that too would be politically incorrect to certain zealous people.

Yes, if you don't glorify the "workers' and peasants' state", you're clearly a fascist enemy of the people. You must write fiction empowering marginalized people or else you're "part of the problem."
History truly doesn't repeat itself; but it rhymes.
Author of the Knights of the Black Lily RPG, a game of sexy black fantasy.
Setting: Ilethra, a fantasy continent ruled over by exclusively spiteful and bored gods who play with mortals for their sport.
System: Faithful fantasy genre simulation. Bell-curved d100 as a core mechanic. Action economy based on interruptability. Cinematic attack sequences in melee. Fortune Points tied to scenario endgame stakes. Challenge-driven Game Design.
The dark gods await.

Swords are for Heroes, spears are for peasant infantry.

What games were you playing? Because that certainly isn't the way dwarves were represented in pre-WotC D&D (or Lord of the Rings). Dwarves as 300lb tanks are a fairly recent development in RPGs and fantasy fiction.

How dare you Muscle-shame my dorfs!

Currently building a world of my own heavily inspired by a mix of Sword & Sorcery fiction, classic Sword & Sandal and Peplum B-movies, ancient mythology, and filtered through the lens of old-school classic Shonen fighting anime like Fist Of The North Star and Dragonball Z (as well as the darker new stuff like Attack On Titan).

Let's just say that the "woke" crowd on the Left will utterly despise it. It celebrates the Classical West rather than demonizes it, and there is plenty of bloody violence, beefcake men, and cheesecake women to solidify the setting as "problematic"

The Religious Right/Alt-Right Nazi LARP'ers won't like it either, as it presents pagan Greece and pagan Rome as the good guys, while the Judeo-Christian sects are presented in a manner similar to the snake cultists from Conan The Barbarian and the Celtic and Germanic people are presented as backwards savages and little better than orcs.

Basically, it's a celebration of Classical heroes and myths and a giant "Fuck You!" to both the SJW Left and the Alt-Right. It's not intended to be historically accurate but is instead intended to be fun, cathartic, and over the top..

The setting is intentionally problematic to the Left and antagonistic to both the Religious Right and the Neo-Nazi LARP'ers on the so-called "Alt-Right'

It is partly a antithesis to the "God Of War" video games (which presents the Greco-Roman pantheon as villains and the third game even has vague pseudo-Christian underpinnings) and a colossal middle finger to Varg Vikernes and his shitty MYFAROG game (which over-glorifies the primitive Germanic and Celtic cultures and is rooted in Varg's personal Neo-Nazi, Anarcho-Primitivist, and Nordicist beliefs)

TL;DR-Greece and Rome good, SJW's and Varg bad.

You should pick up a 1e copy of Greybox Forgotten Realms. And play.

Most Alt-Right people like Greece and Rome, though I really don't think that most of them care that much about Christendom vs Mediterranean paganism vs Norse paganism. Varg isn't as much a fan of Rome because they are too civilized for him and he hates Christianity.

Aryanism. Arianism is something completely different, and while it had favor among both Roman Emperors and Germanic kings for a long time, today it mostly survives among the Jehovah's Witnesses.

That reminds me of the mid-90s, when Aria: Canticle of the Monomyth came out.  I got involved with it for a while and took every chance I could get to refer to Aria players as "Arians", purely for the joy of pissing off people who couldn't imagine it being anything other than a euphemism for "Nazis".

"Politically incorrect" seems to be relative. Politically incorrect to who? Who defines what is politically correct? It just seems like the exact same concept, only varying by which political standpoint it supports or opposes. Are we confusing this with an arbitrary standard of historical accuracy, insofar as that makes any sense for a fantasy context?

Also, what is the line between politically incorrect and just plain exploitative? If you make all orcs/goblins into vicious rapists that graphically brutalize women, then why? Is the intent to be as offensive as possible? Will trying to offend your political opponents really result in better writing than otherwise?

If I devised an aesthetic in which all men are absurdly beefy and all women are boyish waifs, in what way would that be politically in/correct?
