This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Reading the section about a group called The Circle. Folks who specialize in one weapon/tool and master it until they die.

We talking Battle Circle here, Sos the Rope and such?

I don't know what that is.

Trilogy of books (Sos the Rope, Var the Stick, Neq the Sword) that were collected into one book (Battle Circle). Piers Anthony, back in the late 60s through mid 70s.

Post-apocalypse Earth, nomads nomad nomadically and specialize in one weapon (sword, staff, club, daggers, morning star, or paired sticks) and whoop each other's ass for any old thing (wine, women, song, the price of rice). They fight in a Battle Circle. Shit is stabilized by what is more or less a Vault that produces goods and distributes them to a second group, who distributes said stuff to the nomads.

Various nomads band together to wipe out the Vault, which Causes Problems, then the next generation returns and more ass is whooped and Problems are fixed.

Roughly close enough to your description of The Circle that I can probably pick and choose elements I recall from a book I read the better part of thirty years ago to toss in there with my No Way This Totally Isn't He-Man version of the setting.

Planets of Peril is now available in PDF format with Softcover pre-order.

I have not received an email to change my password on the PIG site yet and have submitted a request to do so four times. It’s not taking the password that I used to use. I want to order that sweet physical copy.

I just saw your response here. I’ve sent a message through Contact Us on the site a few moments ago. Attempting one more time right now to do the password reset.

Yeah, that was you a few days ago. I emailed back. I assume you didn't get that either. The email shows as accepted by your provider, which means that it's probably stuck somewhere on your provider's end. If you are able to whitelist domains, I suggest you whitelist pigames.net and try again. Otherwise, PM me here and I'll work it that way.
