Some people have mentioned simplicity of dice mechanic, to this I would ask a question. If I am reading correctly the game has a dice mechanic where you have a skill/ability represented by a die (lets say d10 for example) and the task has a difficulty assigned to it (lets say a d6). I take it the player rolls his die and the gm rolls the difficulty die and the two results are compared. That seems a pretty simple mechanic. My question is, what levels of complexity are allowed regarding trying something maybe not laid out as clearly (like the might deed or stunt mechanic in other systems) which could allow for a simple mechanic to get more complex results as the users of said system desire.
Another is for example, if in combat an attack has levels of success beyond what was needed in an attack, does that attack to extra damage/allow for things like those stunts on the fly/etc. Can the die results "explode" to represent such things as critical hits?
