One of the contributors I was told at GenCon was the failure of Vor. Wish they had maintained Crimson Skies a bit more instead.
They also ended up being a paving stone in that long road to hell that is made up of companies that died trying to cash in on the CCG fad. Though not sure how big a contributor that was. FASA outsourced the Battletech CCG to WOTC. Not sure who did the original Shadowrun CCG. But it probably didnt help them in the long run.

Hmm, I thought maybe it was something different. But I could just be remembering wrong.

WEG DC rpg might be the only one from the licenced super hero rpg's i haven't played. Was it any good? I am familiar with DCHeroes rpg from Mayfair.

For it's time? It was more than halfway decent. It had lots of interesting little bits that made it fun, like how Brawling and Martial Arts were different skills and gave different bonuses.  It was also a point buy system that required less intensive math skills than Hero did at the time.

But by today's standards with Mutants&Masterminds 3rd edition out there, and Hero still being Hero? Well, I wouldn't run it anymore.

Still, like I said...the supplements were quality, probably the best licensed Superhero products I've seen. Much as I love M&M, it's DC products they did years back when 3rd edition finally released didn't match the information, passion, and just fun of reading the WEG version of DC.
1)Don't let anyone's political agenda interfere with your enjoyment of games, regardless of their 'side'.

2) Don't forget to talk about things you enjoy. Don't get mired in constant negativity.

I don't think either were good.
