[Pathfinder] Mythic Adventures sourcebook

I began reading it today. I'll give my early impressions as soon as I've finished some chapters. I do find it interesting that even level 1 characters can be Mythic from the very start.

Has anyone read it? What did you think about it?

It's far less of a headache than Epic.

I think I like it.  I definitely find the overlay approach more appealing that straight Epic's turning up the math.  Mythic feats are leaving me cold though, unless I'm misunderstanding them.

I love how it supports a "destined hero" feel right out of the gate.  Seems like this would be perfect for one or two-person groups too.

I like it from reading the book, but I'll know for sure once I run Wrath of the Righteous with one of my groups.

So I've been looking into the book, and my initial impression is positive. Yes, even a level 1 character can be mythic, which is interesting.

Well holy shit.  You can become a source of divine spells for your followers at Tier 3.

Now that's a world changer...

Why not!? :D

(I like the idea of high-level dudes becoming gods, or rather having the possibility of becoming gods.)

I played an awesome session back in the play test. It wasn't system breaking. What it did was give the classes a lot of what I call ass-pull power in tight situations. Fighter Champions turned into steamrollers that since mythic points could fix bad saves and allow for crazy movement. Casters gained a lot of hot swappable magic (turning our bard into a very weird antiundead machine...) But it all worked nicely.

They fixed the most obvious breaks that we reported. Like Hard to Kill and Mythic iniative.

So I love it!

Neat trick. The 3rd tier grant domain works even if not caster. It actually gives you the spells! Add the mythic spell feat and you can play a Barbarian who drops occasional Mythic spells!
