SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

So, at all the pdf download sites (and just online in general), what are your favorite freebies that you've picked up?

For one, I really liked the free downloads at 01 Games--so much so I basically ended up picking up their entire line of maps and blueprints.

What're yours?

JAGS Wonderland would have be pretty close to the top of the list.
Previously known by the name of "GrimGent".

J Arcane

Bedroom Wall Press - Games that make you feel like a kid again.

Arcana Rising - An Urban Fantasy Roleplaying Game, powered by Hulks and Horrors.
Hulks and Horrors - A Sci-Fi Roleplaying game of Exploration and Dungeon Adventure
Heaven\'s Shadow - A Roleplaying Game of Faith and Assassination

Danger

2nd Ed. Fading Suns was The Best Goddam Free Thing Ever.

I do indeed curse the day that DTRPG and RPGNow teamed up 'cause that meant that the end of the "cool free stuff."

Sigh...

Danger - ever the cheap chap
I start from his boots and work my way up. It takes a good half a roll to encompass his jolly round belly alone. Soon, Father Christmas is completely wrapped in clingfilm. It is not quite so good as wrapping Roy but it is enjoyable nonetheless and is certainly a feather in my cap.

World of Darkness was a nice little Halloween freebie from DriveThru, too.

Yeah, of the short run freebies this is at the top of my list.  Exalted 1e was also a great freebie.

For current stuff I highly recommend PDQ from Atomic Sock Monkey.  A light system with player defined Qualities that has worked very well for me in play, especially in pick up games with little notice.

No kidding.  This is -- what? -- the third or fourth nearly identical thread.  What's going on, Zachary?  Pre-senile dementia? Or is this the early stage of an elaborate social experiment?

Apologies, guys--guess I missed it!

I can say it's an elaborate social experiment, but....  :deflated:
