SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Quote from: Professort Zoot;432279Is this meant to determine which game I value most?  Or does it merely determine which game I consider to be the hardest to replace/have highest monetary value?  'Cause I'm thinking a lot of peoples favorite games are probably easy to replace, while some very valuable (relatively) games are unplayable pieces of crap.

Less thinking, more running out of the burning house! :)
Running: Call of Cthulhu
Playing: Mainly boardgames

That'd be my copy of ST1: Up the Garden Path.

Which I would sell, for enough money to repurchase everything I really care about.
OSRIC--Ten years old, and still no kickstarter!
Monsters of Myth

The Dungeon Masters Guide by Gary Gygax.
Astonishing Swordsmen & Sorcerers of Hyperborea -- A Role-Playing Game of Swords, Sorcery, and Weird Fantasy.

What an agonizing choice... *cough*

Ouch!

I grab my RuneQuest III boxed set and run out the door!

Pathfinder I guess. And it's in a taped up box with the rest of my Pathfinder books (moving), so the Pathfinder box gets grabbed on the way out.

The rest gets paid off in the insurance settlement. I'll really miss Saga Edition though.

Maybe so, but the real question is "which is the one game you'd think of saving in the middle of a motherfucking fire"?

If you were really going to think about which one has the most monetary value to save, that says a lot (and not much good) about your character (unless, say, you happen to have some RPG I don't know about that is worth millions of dollars more than any other in your collection or something).
