This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

The real life of getting up at 5 am to clear my driveway of snow seemed odd after last night's Basic Roleplaying Liberty Agency adventure of grenades duel, blasphemous knowledge learning, and Chuck Norris training in a near future Earth of horror/sci-fi. At least Governor Stallone is okay and hey the characters did get the customized brass nuckles (DMAN) and black berets to go with the martial arts Chuck taught them.

So, who was the cyborg-guy?

Believe it ot not, Cyberdyne exists in our world. In BRP their CEO is a cyborg.

Chuck thought about getting cybernetics to extend his life but he does not trust Cyberdyne. So he just willed himself to live longer and that worked.

I thought that BRP features no specific setting.

If Chuck Norris is in BRP, then BRP has a setting. It is Chuck's setting.

A lot of people thought it started with the breakout of several dangerous patients from Arkham Asylum. Others think it kicked off with the Argentinean Incident at Thule Station.  But in reality, it began when Cyberdyne decided that cybernetics were possible and set out to prove it.

And while Chuck was a big help, he is not there to finish things, just help things along. The way it will end focuses on those escaped patients,  their claims of innocence, and their willingness to engage in battles at bad breath range where no less than thirteen grenades were thrown in anger with malice aforethought. In Governor Stallone's private residence. Sly loved that couch. He misses that couch.
