This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

One RPG you've never played, but you'd like to?

Kellri\'s Joint
Old School netbooks + more

You can also come up with something that is not only original and creative and artistic, but also maybe even decent, or moral if I can use words like that, or something that\'s like basically good -Lester Bangs

Balbinus

Fly from Evil.

But with its progress to release so far, I'll need the tech from Transhuman Space to keep me alive until it comes out.

Quote from: Ian Absentia;267513Holy crap, yes.  That game has become so academic to my mind that I never seriously consider playing it anymore.  I'd be tempted to play in the broader "Known Space" rather than just on the Ringworld itself.

[Edit: Whoops.]

Hmmm - I've played StarBlazer Adventures and Ringworld, so they're out. Perhaps the one I would have to say would be Dying Earth. My group is totally intimidated by it.

If we weren't talking about actually existing games, I'd be with you, but I'm far too old to make it to the FFE release...

Legend of the Five Rings RPG.

I've never had a chance to play this and I like Samurai epics.

Pseudoephedrine

Most of the RPGs I'd like to play are really RPGs that I'd like to play face-to-face, having dabbled with a PbP or IRC game etc. of them.

With that in mind, the two I'd most like to play are Burning Wheel and Dark Heresy, neither of which I've been able to find the right group to play with.
Running
The Pernicious Light, or The Wreckers of Sword Island;
A Goblin\'s Progress, or Of Cannons and Canons;
An Oration on the Dignity of Tash, or On the Elves and Their Lies
All for S&W Complete
Playing: Dark Heresy, WFRP 2e

Quote from: Seanchai;267336You've seen my shelves. There are just too, too many to name.
Ditto. At the moment, if you forced me to choose, it'd probably be Pendragon, but ask me again tomorrow and it'd probably be something else.

Quote from: RPGPundit;267237So, which is it?

In my case, its kind of cheating to say, but I'm going to go with Starblazer Adventures, which I very much want to play, but can't until the damn book comes out.

RPGPundit
