This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). {Olde School}FASERIP stat me NBCs Heroes!

I just started watching season 2, and I am already disappointed that it will be a short season.  In fact, I am on disc three, looking at the paltry two episodes on disc four, and getting all upset.  I need some Heroes action!

Seeing as how NBC's Heroes is almost directly lifted from X-men anyway, it shouldn't be too hard to stat them up with FASERIP.  Since I don't have my books on me, so I will have to work something up later.  No exceptional materials or devices so far, which is an interesting twist to me.  For instance, the character of DL may very well have Unearthly phasing ability, but there are no Unearthly materials in the Heroes world, so it would be kind of untestable.  So, how about a Marvel version and a 'mundane' Heroes version of the same character?

Pick a Hero and get to it!

I love MSH, but..I'm not much a fan of Heroes. (I watched the first season sporadically and it didn't win me as a regular watcher.)
 So good luck..:D

I'm the exact opposite, I love Heroes but I cannot fucking stand MSH even a little tiny bit.

I'd totally stat them out for you in Hero System though, and have thought about doing that before.  I love stating out TV show characters in Hero.

I've done MacGyver, the cast of Firefly (those guys copied my whole site, which is awesome since I let it expire).  I once even statted up the mean old man who crushes people's heads from Kids in the Hall.

Well I wrote mostly because it bumps it for other people, as well as lets them know some of us can't do it appropriately.

I think the only one I could do would be Hiro. And only first season Hero.

Yeah, I might have to dig up my books tonight and get the ball rolling, but I am not seeing a whole lot of response anyway.  Thanks for the bump, though.  :)

I haven't watched Heroes, sorry. And to say the truth, I haven't played MSH or the Superheroes genre in some time.

If you work anything up, please post it.--- It may just sell someone on the show!
Don\'t forget rule no. 2, noobs. Seriously, just don\'t post there. Those guys are nuts.

Speak your mind here without fear! They\'ll just lock the thread anyway.

What?  No one here watches Heroes?  Good Lord, am I in Bizzarro world??  :)

Hey, I have a section over at The Citadel for just Classic MSH, if you want to get back in the swing of things.
