Huh. Reminds me of when anyone could make an Atari video game, so you had things like the Purina Dog Food Atari game (because game development, while not cheap, was cheaper than nationwide advertising campaigns).

Nah...My understanding is that AXE managed to miss their target market entirely much like the Spice Girls did and lucked into a totally different market.  Utterly failing to draw in the cool sophisticate they drew in his polar opposite the stinky, lonely geek.  Now they're just embracing that.

We saw this in the Xbox and 360 days, too. There were a handful of Burger King games and then Toyota has a "Yaris" game.
