This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I've always liked this one for a Traveller feel.  Michael Whelan, cover illo for The Cosmic Computer.

I thought I'd have a couple more D&D ones, but I'm not finding them.  Maybe later.

Was reminded while searching though that Conan had a different look before Frazetta and Schwarzenegger.

There's some new art I like as well, but typically when it's not lone character striking a cool pose, or even worse, lone character standing facing the viewer.  DA's honestly got some good stuff if you don't mind wading through the garbage, but it seems like the best isn't making it into rpg illustrations.

Such mind-blowing genre-defying art.... and most old school games consists of elves and dwarfs facing Orcs. :D

I wish we had more Gloranthas, Tekumel and Jorunes.

Love the Parkinson art. Quite a few there that I hadn't seen before.
