This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Wow, threadomancy.

Just watched a clip from the movie where the main character takes the cartridge with the secret plans in it to a friend who runs a hobby store - oh my the classic D&D goodness on display...!  I wonder if TSR paid for that.

Probably they did. Remember legendary scene of Clooney's.

If the new people keep digging up these old threads, I am going to lose my reputation as a thread-killer.  Either that, or I will have to go back and make sure I have the last comment on dozens of threads again.

Quote from: jibbajibba;477482Actually they just ran their own mini series in 2010 and there are even rumblings about a movie  so ....

Marvel makes sure to at least give them a short miniseries every few years (or short lived series, practically the same thing) so they can keep the rights up to date.

Incidentally, they just released an issue of Ultimate Comics Spider-Man that introduced (I guess, my son typically reads that one, not me) Ultimate Cloak and Dagger and it was one of the best C&D comics I've ever read.
