This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Does anyone know if this definitely includes reprints of the original accessories like the rest of the OAR series has done. That's the reason I've grabbed the others. That way no wear and tear on my originals.

I don't think we know yet. I'm also skeptical of the idea that they're 'modernizing' it, and it makes me concerned for the chances of the original to be included. For the cost they're estimating, it damn well had better be in there.

Has anyone been following previous modules they've done in detail?

Goodman Games has a long track record which I would think give some clue. They've published hundreds of modules and gone through nine printings of DCC RPG. They've had 37 Kickstarter campaigns and funding has been going up. The last six have averaged $275K each.

I have the other OAR modules. I can't 100% verify Dark Tower because I don't  have the original of that, but the others all appear to have been unchanged for the "reprint" portion.

Assuming you're talking about the OAR books, yes in the past they've included the originals with them. That said, in this case, they're talking about potentially updating the product for 'modern sensibilities'. Does this mean modifying the original copy in there and changing it in the DCC/5e versions? Does it mean the book won't have the original out of concern for offending the people who claim they're not buying it because of the arrangement with Judge's Guild? No one knows right now except for Goodman and JG.

A scan of the original (revised) is available from Various Sources, as is a pretty good PDF of the Necromancer Games version. May have to run off a few pages of the scan to see if it is readable on paper.

Estar's map is the definitive version, but unavailable for various reasons and...Various Sourcesing something from someone I like is dirty pool.

If I had to guess, that's how you'd get a reprint of the original. Print a yaarrrr'd version of the scanned original.
