I'd like to run DCC in a moderate length campaign--not just the funnel or a couple of adventures, but not an epic years and years thing, either.
I wouldn't mind running a high-end, short Fantasy Hero campaign--specifically, superhero fantasy with all the usual mythic fantasy tropes but over-the-top characters. To make that work, would need to build the characters more like early Champions, rather than the point-fests that later Hero can turn into.
I'm most excited about running my own system, of course, now that I have it far enough along to run parts of it. For purposes of this topic and understanding what that would be like, think of a fantasy Western Europe game, circa 500-700 AD, with lots of fairy tale creatures (if not always fairy tale logic), in an overall simpler, yet more comprehensive, version of Dragon Quest.
