This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

No, it isn't we never called it 'cosplay' - it was the early 1990s and no one was using that obnoxious term.

Oxford Dictionary:

cos·play
noun
the practice of dressing up as a character from a movie, book, or video game.

Unless  you know more than the oxford dictionary people,

The term wasn’t in common use back then. Dictionaries describe usage. They are not authoritative. We used to call it “dressing up as _______.” But now this cringeworthy Japanese-English word is the norm. “Cos” because you’re too lazy to say costume and “play” because you’re….?…. See? It’s a silly word.
The worms crawl in and the worms crawl out
The ones that crawl in are lean and thin
The ones that crawl out are fat and stout
Your eyes fall in and your teeth fall out
Your brains come tumbling down your snout
Be merry my friends
Be merry

By-the-way your post has nothing to do with the opening question of this thread - names for an NPC scientist. A Human NPC (Not a Klingon)

Mocking my name or picture is not the question or conversation.
