Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

You still "uh" too much. Though as usual it tapers off once you get rolling.

Of course some so-called "academic" would "reveal" how "Dangerous" RPGs are. Surprised there have not been more.

There's not much that's very academic about about this article at all. And for a professional psychotherapist there's a few things in the article that are direct violations of academic standards.

Seems a trend anymore.

Though I think the left tossed academic standards out the window along with journalistic standards, can you elaborate on this?  I'd like to share in your insights.

I think it starts with this is a consumer version prior to the real paper, or something along those lines.

Well, I go into details in the livestream: Clio wrote an expose masquerading as an academic study, has no citation, apparently breached ethical standards for her profession by being disingenuous to the people she was interviewing (Olivia Hill has now shared emails where Clio claims that Zak is a dangerous red flag who must be stopped), and then proceeds to make open "diagnoses" about both Mandy and Zak in a way that is clearly a violation of standards for licensed therapists in most jurisdictions. It's one thing if I was to say "Mandy is crazy" or "Zak is not crazy", I'm a historian and not a psychologist; but if you are a psychotherapist this appears to be a professional opinion; but Clio took it even one step further and made it very clear that she was saying this AS A PROFESSIONAL OPINION.  People lose their licenses over this sort of thing.

Except that if this was a "consumer version", it exposes literal career-ending levels of misconduct as far as any kind of legitimate study is concerned.

First time I saw it it was Grim Jim using it. Twat is a very Brittish term, I bet it was him.

Here is why this forum tends to be so stupid. Many people here think Joe Biden is "The Left", when he is actually Far Right and every US republican is just an idiot.

Twat = 'female pudendum' (aka 'cunt') in Northern English and Scots slang, or, 'an idiot' in Southern English slang. The north/south divide on the UK mainland can cause all manner of confusion - as London born ex-Prime Minister David Cameron learned when he said 'the trouble with Twitter, the instantness of it—too many twits might make a twat'.   ;D
