This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Arrrrr... ok, will edit.

Quote from: S'mon;1011138I've just acquired a second GM for my Wilderlands campaign; yesterday at the Meetup we ran different dungeons (Stonehell & Sunless Citadel), IRL at separate tables, in-world about 12 miles apart. We did some after-game coordination & I'm quite excited at the prospect of making this work. :) Has anyone done this/got tips for making it work well?  Pointers to discussion elsewhere?

Had something like that before. All members of my group became GM for certain nations/island group/wild jungle continent while still being a player when "in the realm of others". It worked out fine, just had to make sure the new players had their location come later so they've seen the more veteran players/GMs offer precedent/example on how to do it. This thing works especially well if the players have very different styles (cheery, fun RP, or dark gothic, moody, ect) and you don't use a premade setting, but let the players (along some guidelines) design their own corner/nation of the world.
