This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I've sold over a 100 books so far, my only regret is how many I still have left to get rid of.

Seriously, I play every week and I still own way more books than I have any sensible use for, cut it back to what you play and then play that, it's more fun and maybe some other guy can use the book you weren't.

Take The Riddle of Steel, I didn't take to it so I gave my copy to Imperator, who has run it and had fun with it.  To me, that's a result, I no longer have a book I didn't take to taking up space and someone else is having fun with it.  Everyone's a winner.

Sell and don't look back.  Own what you play, collecting is bad for the hobby anyway.

I once donated WFRP and two parts of the enemy within to our local gaming club. Stupidmost donation ever. Should´ve given them money instead.

I concur with Max. I'm slowly giving out or selling / trading games that I don't use. My life is happier.
My name is Ramón Nogueras. Running now Vampire: the Masquerade (Giovanni Chronicles IV for just 3 players), and itching to resume my Call of Cthulhu campaign (The Sense of the Sleight-of-Hand Man).

That's pretty much my feeling as well.  I just hope that whoever gets the stuff I'm trading away finds a good use for it, as I never will, at this point.

Speaking of books in general, the next thing to thin out before the move is paperbacks, particularly SF and fantasy stuff that I have no particular desire or plans on re-reading.

And how I've come to own duplicates of some titles, I don't know.  Why do I have double copies of the Tekumel novels?

I guess I just can't bring myself to justify keeping things that I know I'll not be making use of in the foreseeable future.

it's why I hate moving more than anything except going back to jail or job hunting. Death and disease just aren't that scary. My possessions are 33% books, 33% gaming gear, 34% other.
