I was intrigued, around 1993, by the RIFTS world books. Pretty interesting art, fascinatingly complex world. Also, I felt the rules were so complex as to make the game unplayable.
Curious to know if anyone ever came up with charts or software to convert one system's worldbook into something easier to play? I don't know if the GURPS system was easy to play, but was there ever a methodology guidebook for converting other systems to it?
For that matter, mystifies my why RIFTS wasn't turned into a computer game, and/or an animation series.
