maxing a stat
Knightcrawler:
Fenzied Berserker gets a separate bonus from rage, "frenzy" of course. So with Frenzy giving you a +6 to Strength and Rage giving you a +4 to Strength. That boils down to a who,e lot of whopass. Not to mention teh extra attack you get from Frenzy when doing a full attack.
Trust me I made an NPC using the Frenzied Berserker PrC and he kicked all sorts of ass. Really put the party in its place. Had a tendency to rip off pieces of buildings and use them as weapons. :D
Cyclotron:
--- Quote from: Ottomsoh the Elderly ---I'm not sure a vampire can become a lycanthrope and vice-versa. Most DMs would frown on that kind of things... Can the lycanthrope template be slapped on an undead?
--- End quote ---
Hurr, hurr... Mostly, I was joking. :p
But, for the record...
--- Quote ---“Lycanthrope” is a template that can be added to any humanoid or giant (referred to hereafter as the base creature).
Size and Type: The base creature’s type does not change, but the creature gains the shapechanger subtype.
--- End quote ---
--- Quote ---“Vampire” is an acquired template that can be added to any humanoid or monstrous humanoid creature (referred to hereafter as the base creature).
Size and Type: The creature’s type changes to undead (augmented humanoid or monstrous humanoid).
--- End quote ---
Humanoid lycanthropes can become vampires, but vampires cannot become lycanthropes.
Ottomsoh the Elderly:
They couldn't in "3.0" as shapechanger was a type rather than a subtype.
Name Lips:

No, the lycantrhopy template cannot be added to an undead creature.
HOWEVER.
The Vampire template CAN be added to a lycanthrope.
It's all in the order you do it... :D
