Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Quote from: TJS;1090136Of course it was always, "Linear Fighter" not "Linear Martial".

"Martial" being a term, like "Build" that I wish would just die.

Edit: and "fluff" and "crunch" while we're at it.

Long ago we realized that fans should NEVER EVER be allowed to name anything. EVER.

Yes. You are being a dick. Anything actually constructive to add? Im going to guess ahead of time the answer will be no.

Quote from: Chris24601;1090414In 3/3.5/PF most spell components are handled using an item called a "spell component pouch." If you had one you were presumed to have all the trivial components (ex. grasshopper legs for the jump spell or the bat guano for a fireball) you'd ever need for casting them with no need to track specific components.

Gotcha.  We've played that the initial purchase of the component pouch had everything (within reason) you needed for the spells you knew at purchase time (new character), but subsequently learned spells needed to have the appropriate components added to the pouch, and the pouch itself isn't bottomless.

Eschew Materials handwaves the need to manage the contents of the component pouch for the cheap stuff, but not the expensive stuff.
