Quote from: Spinachcat;266060I have heard only negative second hand info about Booksurge.   Has anyone used them for a project?  What are the problems?

I have looked into Amazon's CreateSpace and that looks solid, especially since they expanded their size options.   I have not see the quality yet.  Has anyone ordered a Createspace book?

This is what worries me. Lulu has excellent quality, and thus my games may be laid out like a drunken blind man with Attention Deficit Disorder did them, but by gosh and gee willikers, they'll last and the ink won't smudge to spoil the ugliness!

I have no idea about CreateSpace's quality.

Quote from: Kyle Aaron;265876It appears that lulu.com have just had a fuckup. They dropped a lot of their regular delivery options, leaving only the madly expensive ones. They are working to fix this. They made a mistake and are fixing it.

I leave it to you guys whether you think it's worth dealing with a company that makes such big fuckups and then takes weeks or months to fix them...

First, its not the error, but the way they have utterly failed to sensibly handle the error, and to provide customer service and feedback.

Second, their "solution" is still pretty half-assed. Sure, I wouldnt' have to pay 570% of the cost of a book for shipping anymore, but I do still have to pay 110%, which is still a LOT for shipping a softcover book.
