This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Hmmm, let's see.

Did a couple of games while I was deployed in Iraq. In fact, back in 05 when I was there, we had the first gaming con there. It was called ZigguratCon.
Now, there WAS a ZigguratCon in 07, but the one I was at in 05 was the first "unofficial" one.

that was probably the most unusual.

Had a couple of game sessions at a state park while camping. That was fun.

Way back in the day, a local gaming group help their weekly Saturday meeting at a Godfather's Pizza in the loft section. We had the area the whole night until close. I'd get my mini pizza (Humble Pie: sausage, onions, pepperoni, and bell peppers) and a pitcher WITH FREE REFILLS. For a teenager, it was heaven.

and onboard a US Navy Amphibious Assault Ship. ;D

How the hell would that even work...

"Strangest" places I've gamed are probably bars and college classrooms, although I don't think they're that strange, honestly. Also obligatory, "your mom's house!"
It takes considerable knowledge just to realize the extent of your own ignorance.
