To be serious, I thought that CoC would mix well with Native American legend (time period of the Indian Wars and The Wild West).

What if...

- we brought the nightmares of Cthuhu to the Indians?
- there was an agreement between Buffalo Bill Cody and Sitting Bull and they stayed together to seal it (to protect what)?
- the first people to move west found more than just land?

Also the inhuman concentration camp conditions people were held in during the boer war could have masked some cult activity.
