SPECIAL NOTICE
Malicious code was found on the site, which has been removed, but would have been able to access files and the database, revealing email addresses, posts, and encoded passwords (which would need to be decoded). However, there is no direct evidence that any such activity occurred. REGARDLESS, BE SURE TO CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. And as is good practice, remember to never use the same password on more than one site. While performing housekeeping, we also decided to upgrade the forums.
This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I want a site where people talk about their games...

Calithena:

Treasure Tables is probably pretty fairly up your alley.

We get quite a lot of that a GameCraft, as well, but it's a very relaxed place in terms of speed-of-posting, so it might not suit you on that end.

Quote from: RedFoxI've always used "New Posts" simply to see what frothing rants the Pundinator has in his own forum, along with the off-topic and RPG fora.  Of course I also see new posts pop up in the Amber forum, of which I have no interest, but such a price is paid for eternal vigilance.
I do something a lot like this but without the New Posts page; those are the only three forums I read with any regularity, but sometimes a discussion I had no interest in or time for at first gets enough momentum that I start in after a couple pages.

Does anything go on in Craft of Gameplay? It was pretty dead when I started here, so I've never really looked in on it.

As for something actually on topic, I think the difficulty is that when it comes to discussing games we're actively playing with we're all over the map. Any given game-specific stuff that gets posted will probably only be of interest to a couple dozen others, and at best useful to one. Anybody would get much better results posting at a game-specific forum.

Besides, I sorta like the non-specific nature of the site. It's like an off-duty GM's bar.

The internet recognizes only five forms of self-expression: bragging, talking shit, ass kissing, bullshitting, and moaning about how pathetic you are. Combine one with your favorite hobby and get out there!

Quote from: RedFoxI'm too dry for my friends to know when I'm being serious.

I must be hell to talk to online.

This is me, but I'm not a fox, so I don't know how my friends manage it.
God in the Machine.

Here's my website. It's defunct, but there's gaming stuff on it. Much of it's missing. Sorry.

I've got a blog. Do you read other people's blogs? I dunno. You can say hi if you want, though, I don't mind company. It's not all gaming, though; you run the risk of running into my RL shit.

Yes, I am this annoying, bizarre, and circumlocutory in person.

I make up for it by bringing beer to Necromunda night, and dinner to gaming.
