This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

I am hoping some of my current 10+ group decide they don't like my campaign and/or GMing style and drop out.

It is hard to craft a satisfying game for that many people, especially with only two hours per session.

I've done it at conventions over the years, but I don't recommend it. Its kinda fun as an interesting one-off, but its hard to keep the attention of 10 people in the age of cell phones. My best success with a table of 12 was to break them into competing teams of 6 vs. each other. The key was jumping back and forth and keeping it interesting for the non-playing team at the moment. But even that was a one-shot.

I've used Traveller, OD&D and Gamma World as systems for these games.
