This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Favorite D&D Artifact

Ok, let's seperate them from their characters. Which artifact on the D&D cartoon was your favorite:

Hank's Bow: Lightning bolts, lassos, and pretty much anything that could be drawn with a line or two.

Bobby's Club: Midget Smash!

Presto's Hat: I know I left that battlecruiser around here somewhere...

Sheila's Cloak: Can't see me!

Eric's Shield: Nothing hurts me!

Diana's Staff: Look! My stick can get bigger!

The bow was cool, but not my favorite ... that staff seemed, of them all, the one that most explicitly boosted stats and abilities, rather than simply serving as an excellent medium/weapon.  I found that fascinating, and it puts that one at the top of my list.

Unless Diana was supposed to have always had that freaky ability to leap and bound like a grasshopper doped up on mexican jumping beans.  Maybe she was a cheerleader.  I don't recall much of the series but the occasional flashes, colored rosy by nostalgia.
Superheroes with heart:  Capes!

RockViper

I like both the Cloak the Hat, with the cloak being the more useful.

Terry Pratchett (Men at Arms)

the sheer neato and blasty power of the bow made it my favorite.  then it could do the other things, and that solidified it for me.

I don't know about the show, really, but being invisible does it for me.
I'm almost invisible as it is, and I abuse it already.
God in the Machine.

Here's my website. It's defunct, but there's gaming stuff on it. Much of it's missing. Sorry.

I've got a blog. Do you read other people's blogs? I dunno. You can say hi if you want, though, I don't mind company. It's not all gaming, though; you run the risk of running into my RL shit.
