This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

An entirely unfair comparison to make given proximity to release, but I am sure some people will be excited to see Godbound sitting above Ex3 on DTRPG in sales today.

If you like to talk about roleplaying games, check Daystar Chronicles, my tabletop RPG blog, for reviews and homebrew.

Has any one figured out large scale army battles in case your godbound wants to lead a army?

Use the Mob rules on pages 152-153 to represent the armies. I think that is better than trying to turn armies into mods for PCs.

That is great for Godbound vs group.  What I am talking about is group vs group.

The rules accommodate Mob v Mob.

Just got the free version on DTRPG and will look it over.

Yup, same as the Deluxe Edition. Only difference really is the bonus content.

As a "Made God" tier backer...pleased. Very pleased.

So, now that we have a corebook to the masses...the question I should be asking around these parts is anyone interested in a weekend Roll20 type game?

Agreed. Mass Combat isn't a major issue for me but the systems were you figuratively wear your army always seem a little wonky even as an abstraction.

Mortal Heroes, Strifes (Martial Arts), Godwalkers (Warstriders), themed Godbound (based on Exalted types), Cybernetics, and Paradises.

Its very pretty. As Mostlyjoe says the pages are the same as the Deluxe, you just don't get the last 50 or so.

Nice. May have to pick that up eventually for the read.

The bonus content has universal applicability but also provides a relatively comprehensive bundle for converting Exalted to Godbound.

That and well Scion, Gods of the Fall, just about any demigod theme game you want to put a specific style of filter on.
