I'm working on putting together something for Big Geek Emporium, nothing huge but I want to support alternatives to DT.

Although I am more interested in selling my work through Odysee. Although typically thought of as a video site, Odysee allows creators to post any kind of file, and they have built in monetization such that you can restrict visibility/downloads to users that pay whatever price you set. It's permissionless and cuts out the middleman, so I'm planning to drop bigger projects over there.

Neat. Does the visibility control extend to accessing the content directly through LBRY, or only via Odysee?

I did a lot of debating the right wing position on rpg.net back in the day and I'm pretty sure I'm on the mod's shit list somewhere so, I certainly like the idea of a cancel free store.  It's funny, in some ways I've drifted quite a bit left of my original position but the left has been charging away from the center at a full gallop.

Paying for content is LBRY feature, although getting paid in cash directly is an Odysee thing.

From what I can tell (tho I haven't directly tested) Odysee has the option to charge in USD. I don't know how they handle the conversion or if they take a cut.
