This is a site for discussing roleplaying games. Have fun doing so, but there is one major rule: do not discuss political issues that aren't directly and uniquely related to the subject of the thread and about gaming. While this site is dedicated to free speech, the following will not be tolerated: devolving a thread into unrelated political discussion, sockpuppeting (using multiple and/or bogus accounts), disrupting topics without contributing to them, and posting images that could get someone fired in the workplace (an external link is OK, but clearly mark it as Not Safe For Work, or NSFW). If you receive a warning, please take it seriously and either move on to another topic or steer the discussion back to its original RPG-related theme.

Gnome Stew?

Martin Ralya, who did Treasure Tables, is part of Gnome Stew, which is a multiple-author GM blog (with some folks who know their GMing, if I recall their TT forum).  I'm super-excited about checking it out--it helps, too, that Treasure Tables was super-useful for me when it was active. :)

I find as I garner more games I want to run then I'll ever get to play, a site like that is very useful to me--plenty of GM craft discussions, system-generic GMing.  My focus begins to change in part from "finding what's new (not that I'm still not up for a new RPG!) to refining what I have.

Has anyone else seen their focus on gaming change, in this way, or perhaps another way?

Awesome! Thanks for the heads up.

Now we only need a GM forum.... where GM's can get together and maybe announce when/where they are running... post when they have openings... hint hint hint.

I thought this was going to be an interesting NPC . . .
Employment Counselor: So what do you like to do outside of work?
Oblivious Gamer: I like to play games: wargames, role-playing games.
EC: My cousin killed himself because of role-playing games.
OG: Jesus, what was he playing? Rifts?

In this, I am sorry to disappoint.
