I am really enjoying Ghosts of Albion. If my dad and myself can stick with it we should have the first game my dad runs in over +/- 7 years. So anyways what are your guys experiences, thoughts and opinions about it?
-
Not familiar with it; glanced at the wiki for the books - sounds like an interesting premise.
-
I've heard it has one of the best magic systems in the Unisystem-uverse, better even than The Magic Box from Buffy.
I picked up the PDF a ways back but it hasn't reached the top of the rotation to read yet, I should probably bump it up a few notches.
-
One of the high points is the magic system yeah. Though I'm more glad that you can still get the book in print. Well at least print on demand.
-
I figured you guys wouldn't like Ghosts of Albion because it uses Drama points.
-
Just snuck a peek at it on DriveThru and unless my math is off it looks like the cost of Print+PDF is more than if I bought the print and PDF separately. ???

Hey, did the SWN book arrive?
It should have by now.
-
I think your math is wrong because if you were to get both the pdf and the hardback separately you would end up spending 47.44 USD versus the 42.49 USD for both together.

I love Cinematic Unisystem. I use BTVS, Angel, AoD, and Ghosts constantly for hacking and setting up games. It's a robust thing, and I also beg and steal from Uni, especially AFMBE and Witchcraft, when needed. I lament that the last pondered Eden Studios release never came forth. I always hope it would turn up like some vapor-ware PDFs that eventually hit the internet.
Ghosts has a place in my heart for providing tons of medium-low level crunch entertainment.
